There were no new cases of COVID-19 reported in Grey-Bruce Wednesday according to the Grey Bruce Health Unit’s daily situation report.
Eighty-five of the region’s 91 total recorded cases of the disease have now recovered.
Zero of the region’s active cases are currently hospitalized, and there have been no deaths attributed to the disease locally.
Twenty-four cases have been reported in healthcare workers. None of the local long-term care facilities are in a declared COVID-19 outbreak.
The province reported 292 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday and 32 more deaths.
Those numbers raise the provincial total to 26,483. The total includes 2,155 deaths and 20,372 resolved cases.
The provincial government extended its COVID-19 emergency orders until June 9, meaning Ontarians won’t be able to gather in groups of more than five, use plays structures or dine in bars or restaurants until the middle of next month at least.
The provincial orders also include the closures of libraries, child-care centres, theatres, public pools and splash pads.
Ontario first declared a state of emergency on March 17.

Some day-use areas at Bruce Peninsula National Park and Fathom Five National Marine Park will open to the public on June 1 as part of a limited reopening.
The Grotto, Flowerpot Island, Cyprus Lake Campground, the Parks Canada Visitor Centre and the portion of the Bruce Trail between Crane Lake and Little Cove will remain closed until further notice.
Some day-use trails near the Parks Canada Visitor Centre and Singing Sands day-use area, limited washroom facilities and parking lots will open to the public June 1.
All park facilities and lands will remain closed to the public until May 31.

The Municipality of Meaford reopened its skate park to the public Wednesday.
People using the skate park are reminded to follow public health procedures and maintain a physical distance of two meters while practicing good hand and cough hygiene.

The Municipality of Brockton has lifted the order issued on May 8 preventing garage and yard sales within the municipality.
Residents are still prohibited from gathering in groups of more than five, as per the provincial emergency order still in effect.
The Grey Bruce Health Unit has advised people to refrain from holding garage or yard sales.
