COVID-19 roundup: no new cases over weekend, bus route between Owen Sound and Guelph resumes Monday

There were no new cases of COVID-19 reported by the Grey Bruce Health Unit Sunday, and still no known active cases in the region.

The last known COVID-19 patient in the area recovered Thursday. The last reported COVID-19 case in Grey-Bruce was on July 9.

Public health units across the province reported 164 new COVID-19 cases and three new deaths Sunday. Those numbers are well above the average daily totals registered throughout the past several weeks in Ontario.

Thirty-seven of Sunday’s new cases were reported in the Windsor-Essex region where outbreaks among agribusiness workers continue to be recorded. Forty-eight cases were reported in the Peel Region.
